Jonathan Gallardo
Teaching Pastor
Pastor Jonathan Gallardo has served as the pastor‑teacher of Vida Abundante Cicero since 2019, shepherding the congregation through the faithful exposition of God’s Word each Lord’s Day. In this role, he provides regular pulpit ministry and leads the church’s midweek Bible study, laboring to equip believers with a deeper understanding of Scripture and a richer love for Christ.
He holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology (ThM) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is currently completing his Doctor of Ministry degree at The Master’s Seminary. His dissertation is on Worship.
He also serves as a church history instructor at the Vida Abundante Bible Institute, and author of his first book, a biblical study on tithing, written in Spanish, titled El Diezmo: Un Análisis Bíblico. He and his wife, Yahaira, have six children

Ismael Vargas
Executive Pastor
Ismael serves as the executive pastor of Vida Abundante. In this role, he oversees the church’s ministries and staff, and directs the church’s counseling department.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in counseling from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
He also serves as a counseling instructor at the Vida Abundante Bible Institute. He and his wife, Maria, have three children and four grandchildren.

Jose Luis Zamora
Pastor / Elder
Jose Luis serves in Vida Youth, where his primary responsibility is to shepherd university students.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He also assists in teaching membership and doctrine classes for new members of Vida Abundante. He and his wife, Beatriz, have three children.
